Kailyn Lowry of Teen Mom 2 recently revealed that she has bipolar disorder. “My mom is bipolar and it turns out I am too,” she said in a recent interview.

Lowry discovered her diagnosis after deciding to go to counseling following a very heated argument with her new husband, Javi Marroquin, and his family.

The details on their argument have not been discussed, but Kailyn wanted to offer a public mea culpa to Teen Mom 2 viewers and everyone involved.

“I just want to publicly apologize in advance to my fans,” Kailyn said.

“Even though Javi and I have moved on from this event, I want to say I’m sorry again to him and his family for letting my emotions get the best of me.”

“I know how humiliating that is for them and I’m humiliated myself.”

No one has yet seen the event she’s talking about, but it appears that we will at some point on Teen Mom 2, if she’s already apologizing for it in advance.

Recently, reports surfaced that MTV canceled Teen Mom 2 in light of Jenelle becoming a major liability. might Kailyn make their choice even easier?

As for her bipolar diagnosis, Kailyn Lowry says she will soon be taking medication to help keep it under control. we wish her nothing but the best.

The 2010 series of The X Factor may have produced the likes of One Direction, Cher Lloyd and winner Matt Cardle, but finalist Aiden Grimshaw is finally ready to step out of the shadow of the talent show to become a star in his own right.

With his debut single Is This Love set to chart this weekend, MTV.co.uk caught up with the Blackpool-born singer, where he revealed he’s pleased to leave ‘X Factor Aiden’ behind.

Following the news that Cardle has parted ways with his record label, we asked Aiden if he was glad he didn’t win the show, to which the singer replied: "Yeah, it’s been amazing to have so much time away from it as you’ve got to make your own experiences.

"going on The X Factor is massive, the most crazy thing ever and it’s so odd. It was nice to be able to go away from that.

"I left and had three weeks of being like ‘X Factor Aiden’ and it’s important to get away from that I think. Anyway, I haven’t done much with my life so [on the show] I got to live a little bit. "

Grimshaw went on to address his forthcoming LP Misty Eye, stating that he feels nervous and excited about its release in August, claiming: "I suppose I’m nervous in a way, because I’ve lived with it for so long.

"We delivered it in February so we had time to sit with it and really come to terms with it. It’s like my little baby, it’s a few months of my life that happened. I’m quite nervous but generally excited  – it’s been two years of waiting."

He added: "I had a year and a half to go and explore and dip my feet in loads of different puddles and try out loads of things that worked and loads of things that didn’t work. I felt very confident and ready to attack."

While he may have teamed up with the likes of Labrinth‘s sister on album track Curtain Call, Grimshaw claimed he also wouldn’t mind recording with a certain Bajan babe.

When asked if he’s eyeing up any future collaborations, the 20-year old admitted: "someone hot would be nice, someone like Rihanna. That would be like a good Tuesday wouldn’t it."

Despite wanting to work with RiRi, Aiden wasn’t so keen about shooting a video with the raunchy singer, saying: "I’m not very sexy though. It would be awkward.

"she would be doing all sexy and I’d be getting all sweaty. I’d be like ‘I don’t know what to do’. It would be terrible. It would be really bad!"

Aiden’s new single Is This Love is out now, with his album Misty Eye due for release on 13th August.

(CNN) — We know R&B can have a sexy side, but the X-rated lyrics on a preview from a new Brian McKnight song have given some fans pause.as MTV notes, the response to McKnight’s preview video of a song called “If You’re Ready to Learn” has shown that not many are prepared for the singer’s new direction.the “Back at One” crooner posted a YouTube video previewing the track on Monday, and since then has set off a hailstorm of reactions, particularly on Twitter.the lyrics include lines using a colloquial term for a woman’s body part. we are going to go with “kitty cat.” You probably know what we mean, and while we were going to spell it out here, it just felt so wrong to us (though apparently not to McKnight).It turns out the song was born out of boredom, as McKnight said in a call with TMZ that he’s been stuck in his house as he awaits Achilles tendon surgery. he had an idea for a mixtape made just for adult ears, bounced the idea around with his 40,000 followers on Twitter, and hopped into the studio in his home.”The song … was really for my 40,000 followers, because they’re the ones who have been there with me everyday,” McKnight said. “Those people are the ones who have seen me on the road to know that I have a sense of humor. I try to be as funny as I possibly can. When I put it up, it was really just for those people. Lo and behold, all hell has broken loose. … If I’d known this would’ve happened, I probably wouldn’t have done it, but here we are.”"If You’re Ready to Learn” is “a parody,” McKnight added. “I’m having fun, because basically, I have nothing else to do. Which ‘Twilight’ Scenes Could Use A Revamp?

He may have finished in fourth place on “The X Factor,” but Marcus Canty should definitely consider himself a winner. Earlier this year, the R&B singer signed a deal with mentor L.a. Reid at Epic Records, along with fellow contestants Chris Rene and Astro, and now he has just released his first single, “Won’t make a Fool out of you.”

The smooth ballad, which shows off Canty’s vocal strength, will be featured on the soundtrack to the film “Think Like a Man,” but Canty promises he was thinking only of the ladies when making the song.

“This is strictly for the ladies,” Canty told MTV News. “What the fellas can do with this, you can take it and play it for your ladies, you can wind down, you can dance to it.”

Canty, who revealed that he will soon be shooting a video for the single, is still in the studio putting the finishing touches on his debut album, with help from his “X Factor” mentor, Reid.

“L.a Reid has been such a great mentor. He’s loved the records that I’ve cut so far — he’s enjoying it,” Canty said. “He just wants me to continue to be myself. I just like to have fun. I want to make good music — I want to be somebody. he always tells me, ‘Don’t let anyone take away your joy.’ That’s what will carry me for a long time.”

There was, however, a time when Canty wasn’t experiencing a whole lot of joy in his life, when he broke up with a longtime girlfriend. yet he turned his pain into inspiration for his upcoming album.

“Growing up, I had this girl. I was young, but I was so in love, from the third grade until probably right before the show, a year before the show, and I was heartbroken,” Canty revealed. “Definitely even the single, when I was in the studio recording it, I try to envision a specific person when I’m singing a song, so then when I’m singing it, you’ll feel what I’m saying.”

Canty, who wowed crowds on the “X Factor” stage singing everything from Michael Jackson to Janis Joplin, is now ready to show everyone who he really is.

“It’s going to be some heat. my album can touch a lot of different basics. I want to make good music [that] people can relate to, and I think my album is a cluster of a lot of different things,” Canty said.

“I’m a regular guy, but when it comes to the stage and when it comes to recording, when it comes to my music, I’m super-passionate about it. I take my music so serious.”
