Nicole Scherzinger is ‘pleased’ for new ‘X Factor’ judges Demi Lovato and Britney Spears.

The 33-year-old singer was axed from the panel of the US show alongside Paula Abdul after just one series, but she insists she has no grudges towards her replacements on the talent-search contest.

Speaking at the UK premiere of ‘Men in Black 3′ in London’s Leicester Square this evening (16.05.12), she told BANG Showbiz: ‘I’m so pleased for them both and I wish them all the best on the show.’

Nicole was accompanied to the premiere by her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton, and the motor racing star said he was ‘very proud’ of the singer, who plays Lily Poison in the film.

He said: ‘I’m so proud of Nicole, she has worked so hard in her career and it was great to go and see her in action.

‘I’m just really proud and looking forward to seeing her in more films.’

Joining Nicole at the premiere were her co-stars will Smith – who was spotted rapping with British duo Rizzle Kicks on the blue carpet – Emma Thompson, Alice Eve and Josh Brolin.

Rapper Jay-Z was a surprise late arrival to the event.

Is The X Factor going all American Idol on us?

The 15-year-old rapper Astro, who was eliminated from the competition on Dec. 1, has just announced that he’s inking a deal with Epic Records — just like his fellow runner-up Chris Rene did yesterday.

Astro, whose full fake name is Astronomical Kid and full real name is Brian Bradley, was an early favorite among fans thrilled by the bespectacled emcee’s preternatural talents. But the Brooklyn-based teenager eventually lost the crowd due to rampant cockiness and a televised tantrum, during which he pouted, “I really don’t want to perform, I feel it’s unnecessary.”

After Astro’s run ended, many wondered whether he’d get picked up by one of his own idols, namely Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label. But L.A. Reid — who mentored Astro on the show and also runs Epic — took the bait instead. Maybe the real way for X Factor contestants to win a record contract is to impress Reid?

The rumor mill has been silenced: Beyoncé actually was pregnant, and the baby was not born last week. Instead, hip-hop power couple Beyoncé and Jay-Z welcomed a baby girl, reportedly named Blue Ivy Carter, Saturday night at new York City’s Lenox Hill Hospital.

According to E! News, Beyoncé gave birth via scheduled C-section, though many sources noted that Bey’s baby came more than a month before her expected February due date. The new York Daily News notes that Jay-Z and Beyoncé tried to tightly control their babeyoncé’s arrival, renting out an entire floor of Lenox Hill Hospital on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, taping over security cameras and forcing employees to turn in their cell phones.

Most certainly, photos of little Blue Ivy Carter are sure to garner millions, as the baby has been anxiously expected since the moment Beyoncé announced her pregnancy – not-so-subtly displaying her baby bump on stage at the MTV Video Music Awards in August. since then, fans have speculated widely about the first Carter offspring, predicting names, genders and shower gifts – and breaking Twitter records while doing so. but it turned out to be the couple’s close friends who gave away the tiny details of the tiny one. Kelly Rowland hinted in recent weeks that the baby would be a girl.

And upon confirmation from Jay-Z to his friends, the celebrity congratulations to the proud new parents came flooding in. Russell Simmons and Gwyneth Paltrow, among others, tweeted gleefully, but it was Rihanna who put it best:

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion show did not lack for star power Tuesday night, on the catwalk or off. Among the big name acts to perform: Kanye West.

West gave a short, sweet tribute to his late mom before performing “Stronger” and later on teamed with Jay-Z to perform their song ”N!ggas in Paris.”

“In 2007 I was supposed to perform this song on this show, and I lost my superhero. now she is my super angel,” said Kanye of the late Donda West.

The Victoria’s Secret angels proceeded to walk the runway as West performed. Symbolism, people. Deep stuff. Then he and Jay rocked the house.
