Broncos quarterback Brady Quinn reading Dr. Seuss to kids at Children's Hospital
Tuesdays are the league-wide off day for players, and it would be hard to blame most guys for doing little else but relaxing on that day away from the field.
But a bunch of Broncos are using the off day to do some good in the Denver community.
Quarterback Brady Quinn spent time Tuesday morning visiting with sick kids at Children’s Hospital in Denver, including story time in which Quinn read some Dr. Seuss. Quinn made previous trips to Children’s Hospital during the offseason.
This evening, 12 players are scheduled to visit two Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver to play games with more than 500 local kids. Players will be at the Shopneck location in Brighton, and Wilfley location in Denver. Players scheduled to attend are: Rahim Moore, Mike Mohamed, D’Andre Goodwin, Wesley Woodyard, Quinton Carter, Jason Hunter, Mitch Unrein, Britton Colquitt, Jeremiah Johnson, Eron Riley and David Bruton.
